Fare thee well Fr. Mario Imperial

Late Mario

The death of Father Mario Imperial our beloved Father, brother and friend is a shock to us parishioners of Our Lady of Africa Mbuya  who have journeyed with him during his times as a priest and parish priest at Mbuya parish.

Many of us out there would love to share a message to bid him fare well. Kindly use the comments box below and leave a brief message that we will forward to the parish office and of course to all the families and friends around the world.

Just in case you have a write up or article or poem to share, kindly forward it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will have it posted on the parish website. If possible, you can also accompany your article with a photo of you and Father Mario in a moment you shared with him.

A number of us have actually been born and grown up in the parish during the times of Father Mario. I for one was baptized by him in the year 1988 and throughout my education while at St. kizito Primary school, Father has always prayed mass with us.

Whenever or as long as  the song “praise him, praise him, praise him in the morning and noon time” is sang, I will always remember him and most especially my child hood days back in primary that we shared with him, as father always liked this song.

I also remember father for his passion for beauty, hard work and humility. He loved to see that the church was always beautiful by maintaining the flowers in the compound by himself.

Father has always been there for all of us Christians at any of our occasions and homes, whenever you called on him, he would never hesitate to come. He has blessed most of our families and marriages.

Father you have left us,  we will surely miss you but your memory will forever be rooted in our hearts.  we know you are with God in heaven.

We will continue to treasure and uphold the humility you exhibited.

May your Soul rest in Peace, Amen!

I have so much attraction to the service of the church which i do so passionately. All my life, i have lived in the service of the Lord especially through singing in Church and this is my passion, I attribute all this to the foundation i got in my Primary school, St. Kizito Primary School which moulded me to love church service. Here, find reflections to improve your faith, I also invite you to join us at Mbuya and praise the lord. You'll love being part of our community.

I also invite you to promote this, our Parish website that gives us global outlook to enable us reach and evangilize to millions all around the world. You may do this through promoting the site to all your friends and families online and you may also donate to this project through the office of the Parish priest to enable us upgrade and keep uptodate with the Latest technologies.

May the Good Lord keep and bless you all the days of your life.
