  2. The month of May is dedicated to mother Mary and we are encouraged to pray the rosary daily.
  3. Today Christians rom St. Julia sub parish will make their pilgrimage to the parish and they will lead the 11 O’clock mass.
  4. All Christians of Mbuya parish will make a pilgrimage to Namugongo on Saturday 16th May 2015. We will start our journey at 8.00am. The leaders and Christians are kindly asked to prepare some gifts for the offertory. St. Cecilia choir will lead us during the mass.
  5. Parents are reminded to send their children for catechism classes during holidays.
  6. St. Andrew Kaggwa  sub parish Bugolobi Christians have a meeting today after the 9.00am mass at the Mbuya Kindergarten hall.
  7. Catholic Men’s Guild will hold their meeting on Sunday 17th May 2015 after 9.00am mass in the parish hall.
  8. Next Sunday 17th May 2015, two of our sub parishes will make their pilgrimage to the parish that is Kiswa sub-parish during the 7.30am mass and Banda sub parish during the 11.00am mass .
  9. All students on holiday are reminded to come for Adoration every Friday from 5.00am to 7.00pm.
  10. Reach out Mbuya announces the job opportunity of a Director Medical Services. The applications should reach them not later than 22nd May 2015 at 4.00pm. Click here for the details.
  11. The Leadership Magazine, Munno Newspaper are being sold outside the church.
  12. Kampala Archdiocese will join the rest of the Dioceses in Uganda to celebrate the 49th World communications day on Sunday, 17th May 2015 at Mitala Maris parish under Mitala Maria Vicariate starting with mass at 10.00am. The theme will be “Communicating the family: A privileged place of encouraging the gift of love.” The main celebrant will be His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala and chief guest will be His Excellence the Vice president of Uganda, Hon. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi.

I have so much attraction to the service of the church which i do so passionately. All my life, i have lived in the service of the Lord especially through singing in Church and this is my passion, I attribute all this to the foundation i got in my Primary school, St. Kizito Primary School which moulded me to love church service. About Our Church

Welcome to Our Lady of Africa Parish Mbuya. We are located near Bugolobi Township in Nakawa Division. It is about 5 kms from the City Centre of Kampala. Mbuya Catholic Parish is a vibrant and diverse community made up of people from different parts of Uganda. We welcome you warmly and joyfully.
