  2. This Wednesday 3rd June will be Uganda Martyrs day, good celebrations to you all. There will be two celebrated at the parish at 7.00am and 9.00am for those who may not go to Namugongo.
  3. Nextx Sunday 7th June will be the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). The children will receive their first Holy Communion in the 11.00 mass. The Bishops from the Northern Ecclesiastical province will pray with us in the 11.00 mass. They will then meet all Christians from the Northern Ecclesiastical province in the kindergarten after the 11.00 mass. The procession of the Blessed Sacrament will be in the 5.00pm mass.
  4. All the children preparing to receive Holy Communion on Sunday are requested to come on Saturday 6th June, 2015 for confessions at 8.00am. Those who come late will not be accepted.
  5. Those who would like to baptize children during the month of June should come on Saturday 6th June, 2015 for instructions starting at 3.30pm. Parents and God Parents must attend.
  6. The Christians from Fort Portal Diocese are reminded of your monthly Mass next Sunday 7th June 2015 at St. Augustine students centre hall Makerere University. The mass will begin at 10am.
  7. There will be a liturgy workshop next Saturday 6th June 2015 from 10.00am to 4.30pm. The following people must attend; Catechists, ushers, sacristans, Altar servers, 5 representatives from each choir, extra ordinary ministers of the Eucharist, Lectors, commentators, heads of Liturgy. Please register at Sisters office.
  8. Being the Last Sunday of the Mass, there will be the second colletion for the renovation of Namugongo.
  9. We thank the Christians of Bugolobi who contributed Ugx500,000 for the Banda project last Sunday.
  10. There will be healing service today starting at 2.30pm.
  11. The Leadership Magazine, Munno Newspapers and tithe envelopes are available.
  12. There will be community medical outreach in Bugolobi and Kiswa for preventive, treatment and referral services neaxt Saturday 6th June 2015. Details are on the notice board.

About Our Church

Welcome to Our Lady of Africa Parish Mbuya. We are located near Bugolobi Township in Nakawa Division. It is about 5 kms from the City Centre of Kampala. Mbuya Catholic Parish is a vibrant and diverse community made up of people from different parts of Uganda. We welcome you warmly and joyfully.
