It continues to shine for all who believe in him. It is a persistent and defiant light that no darkness can over power. May the coming of God’s son scatter the darkness of the world, and make it radiant with his light. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.” Is 9:2

In his new encyclical, Laudato Si, Pope Francis focuses mostly on environmental degradation and how it affects the poor.

Prior to the public release, the Holy Father sent the encyclical to all Bishops around the world with a handwritten note, that read:
