Apostolic Community

With the need to bring together the different religious communities present in the parish of Mbuya, the apostolic community was born in 1999 initiated by Sr. Teibe of the Comboni missionary sisters and the parish priest, Fr. Joseph Archetti.

This apostolic community is made up of the following communities:

  • The Comboni missionary sisters
  • Little sisters of Mary Immaculate of Gulu
  • Evangelising sisters of Mary
  • Missionary sisters of Mary mother of the church
  • Comboni missionaries
  • Lay comboni missionaries

The Apostolic community has a monthly recollection where they share and pray together in a spirit of friendship. Every year, usually on Easter Monday, they go out together on a picnic.

Their presence in the parish is a beautiful sign and witness of consecrated life which is the heart of the church.
