  1. Marriage Banns
  2. The Parish Pastoral Council Meeting will take place today after the 9 O’clock Mass. All the members are expected to attend.
  3. The Golden Jubilee infant baptisms are today Sunday 4th August 2019 at 12.30p.m.
  4. As a spiritual preparation for the climax of our Golden Jubilee, we shall hold a novena (i.e. 9 days of prayer) from the 7th August -15th August 2019 here at the parish and in the sub-parishes. The detailed programme for the novena is on the parish notice board.
  5. Each sub-parish has been allocated a special gift that will be part of the offertory during the Golden Jubilee Mass on 17th August 2019. These will be given to our Archbishop as a sign that Mbuya Parish has a heart for the least privileged. Get the information from your respective catechists.
  6. We invite individual Christians to prepare gifts that they will offer during the Golden Jubilee Celebrations. We recommend only non-perishable gifts. Thank you for your generosity.
  7. We invite parents and guardians to register their children for catechism classes as preparation for their First Holy Communion next year. The registration takes place every Saturday at St. Kizito Primary School starting at 8.00 a.m. The deadline for registration is 31st August 2019.
  8. TOUCH-TECH-MELODY invites all those interested in skilling themselves or their children in Piano and Guitar lessons to register. There are special programmes for holiday makers, weekend programmes, music lessons and vocal training. All programmes will be done at Our Lady of Africa Kindergarten Hall.   9. Our youth have designed T-Shirts for the Golden Jubilee. They are available in different colours at a cost of 30.000-UGX only. Find them in the shade outside the parish church.
  10. The SECAM - Golden - Jubilee - Celebrations Audio-CDs are available outside the church for sale at 10.000-ugx each.
  11. Tithe envelopes are available in the sacristy and in the parish office.
  12. Last Sunday’s collection for our Golden Jubilee Celebrations brought together 1.464.900-ugx. We thank you for your generosity. We are remaining with only two collections up to the climax of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. May God bring to completion the good work He has started in us.
