CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is a special Church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptized. If you were baptized at a christening when you were a child, your parents and godparents made these promises on your behalf.

GUIDELINES

• Be Baptized in the Catholic Church
• Must have received First Holy Communion
• Register in the Parish Office
• Choose a convenient venue for classes
• Kizito Primary School (VENUE 1)
• Kiswa Primary School (VENUE 2)
• Mbuya Catholic Church (VENUE 3)
• Our Sub-Parishes of St. Julia, St. Joseph Mukasa Balikuddembe Kinawataka and St. Paul Banda – (VENUE 4)

CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

• Catechism classes take place every Saturday during school term at 8:00am – 12:00pm from St. Kizito Primary School.
• Catechism Classes for those studying from Kiswa Primary School take place every Saturday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
• Classes are conducted from Monday to Friday during school holidays from 8:00am – 12:00pm
• Those studying from international schools study on Sundays at the Mbuya Catholic Church (Comboni House) from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Schedule for Confirmation

• Confirmation is given on the Sunday of the Assumption of Mary into heaven or the Sunday closest to it.
