Our Lady of Africa Catholic Parish, Mbuya
On behalf of the Parish Council and the entire laity of Our Lady of Africa Catholic Parish, Mbuya, I joyfully welcome you to the celebration of our Parish’s 56th Anniversary. We are deeply honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, His Grace Raphael p’Mony Wokorach, Archbishop of Gulu, and sincerely thank him for accepting our invitation to grace this occasion.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. James Patrick Jjumba, his pastoral team, and the Comboni Missionaries for their tireless dedication to the spiritual growth and well-being of our community. Our gratitude also goes to all Religious groups in the Parish for their steadfast service, to our Catechists for their faithful teaching of the faith, and to our Parish employees and volunteers for their commitment and sacrifice in their daily work.
We warmly thank all Parishioners for their love and generosity towards our Church. Your contributions have made it possible to complete several key projects: the Adoration Chapel, Parish Offices, the Statue of St. Joseph, new washrooms, improved drainage, the Church entrance, and repairs to the leaking roof. These achievements stand as a testament to your devotion and unity.
As we look to the future, we appeal for your continued support as we embark on the next phase of construction. With your renewed commitment, we can accomplish even greater works for the glory of God and the service of His people.
May this anniversary strengthen our unity, deepen our faith, and inspire us to journey together in communion, participation, and mission.
