The Feast of Thanksgiving
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. (Psalm 100:4)”.
My dear parishioners and people of God. As we celebrate the 55th anniversary of our parish, let us be filled with gratitude and praise for all that God has done for us. May we rejoice in the goodness of God, knowing that He will continue to be good to us for many years to come.
We want to remember and thank all those who have sacrificed and laid a strong foundation for this Christian community. May the lord reward you abundantly and grant eternal rest to those who passed on.
For us, the current generation, let us keep the fire burning, let’s love our church, and one another, and also make Mbuya a model parish. Let us strive to be a church that mirrors the love and compassion of our Heavenly Father.
Our anniversary is not just a mark of time but a testimony of the power of unity. Over the years, God has woven us into a tightly-knit community that loves Him, loves others, and seeks to reach the world.
We are a diverse group of people, all joined together by the blood of Jesus Christ. Let us celebrate the unity God has created in our church, recognizing that this unity only comes through the Gospel.
Dear brothers and sisters, let us remember all that God has done for us and rejoice in His goodness. Let us rejoice in the never-ending blessings He has poured out upon us.
May Mother Mary continue to intercede for us.
I wish you a Blessed and Joyous Parish Day.
FR. JAMES PATRICK JJUMBA.
